We visit the amazing Saklikent Gorge.
Rushing rivers and steep sided cliffs characterise
this 16km long canyon. After exploring on foot we jump
on our tubes to spin and twist downstream through the
rapids and meandering waters of the Karacay River. |

The ruins of the ancient city Caunos
are easily accessible and well worth exploring. It
dates from 3000 BC and among the ruins is a 5000 seat

IZTUZU BEACH
Dalyan (base of the activities) Arrival
at Dalaman Airport. Transfer to Dalyan, a charming
fishing town, situated next to a meandering river that
winds down through a broad delta of tall bulrushes to
Iztuzu beach. This golden sand is famed for being one
of only a few nesting sites of the endangered Caretta
Caretta turtles. Dalyan is also noted for its 4th
century BC Lycian rock tombs, carved high in the cliff
opposite the town, and for the ruins of the ancient
city Caunos. Overnight in Dalyan.
